Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a colorful mix of personalities, and a exciting storyline featuring celestial beings, demons, and malevolent powers expanding in influence within the urban setting.

The Soldiers Table Revealed
The third episode ended with a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of characters who will split off from the central cast to begin their separate journey, distinct from the additional parties.
This warrior group features Teor (played by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).
Dividing the Cast
Considering an extensive roster, it was clear from the outset that keeping everyone at the same party would be unworkable.
This explains, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, intertwining the characters’ stories before splitting into three smaller tables: Fighters, Schemers, and Questers.
Characteristics of the Warrior Group
As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for players who enjoy a classically intense battle-oriented narrative style where diplomatic options are few and far between.
Upon first impression, characters like the reluctant priest the cleric might look out of place, but the developments of the latest installment make it clear why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the combat party.
Why They Must Go
For one thing, the group understands precisely where to proceed after a violent opening clash with the enemy group.
Casimir of the deceased character—whose death started the narrative’s action—exploited The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, breaking into the hidden lair, attacking the character, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.
Casimir then cleared his liabilities and ran away to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd close behind.
Individual Reasons
Moreover, each member has a specific drive to depart the urban setting:
- The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, wants retribution.
- The knowledgeable figure is familiar with Timmony and warns that it is a nasty place.
- The strong character and Wicander, having resisted his house’s orders to execute Teor and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
- But, their position as prominent individuals in House Halovar could assist the group reach areas they usually can’t.
- Furthermore, Teor pledged a eternal obligation to Wicander for his rescue and will now follow him anywhere.
Wanted and Hunted
Lastly, all of them are hunted by the powers that rule the setting for a range of causes, making remaining behind too risky:
- The rogue and Kattigan are known criminals.
- Tyranny and Wicander defied the powerful family and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
- The fighter is wanted dead by the family.
This leaves them no alternative but to head to the remote area in quest for Casimir.
